Degree and course after 12th non-med.

which degree should be pursued after +2 non-med. BCA,B.Sc. or B.tech. according to demand and relevancy ? Also i want to know which courses will help after pursuing anyone of these degrees? My friend may hardly pass in 12th examination.He has given the IIT-JEE, but isn't sure of passing it.
