Degree course admission related.

My brother was doing a B.Com degree in mahatma Gandhi university after one year he discontinued the course. He registered for the university exam but not appeared for it (in 2017). Now he wanted to continue his studies so is there any problem for joining in Calicut university for Same B.Com degree.
