Delhi Business School has plenty of dual degree options,does marketing and finance go hand in hand?And how are the placements in this field?

Hi Sadhika, Marketing and Finance are two different Subject areas, although, yes if we talk about the departments, marketing is dependent on Finance to a great extent as Marketing can only be carried out if finance department provide the adequate finances. However, if we talk about the specializations both have great scope in the job market but while choosing your specialization you should keep your own interests and career aspirations in mind. As far as Placements are concerned more than institute it would depend on your own caliber, performance and how you use the knowledge earned at the time of job placements. Hi Sadhika, for your query regarding the placements I would say that no institute can guarantee you on that as it purely depends on your capabilities and utilization of your skills at the right time. And as far as dual courses are concerned then things are totally opposite if you compare both dual and single specialization courses. I would advise you to opt for dual courses only if you believe that you can perform and score well as it gets tougher by doubling the burden. Pursuing only dual specialization won’t help attain a good job. It depends on how you have handled the stress, understood the subject and scored well.
