Deepa. As adviced by Suni and Gapziu, you should go for a regular full-time course as Psychology is a practical subject. You will learn only from observing how experienced psychologists treat people suffering from psyhcological problems. Please avoid taking advice about distance learning courses. Psychology is not like literature or history.

You'd preferably do a regular course in Psychology , complete your doctorate/M Phil and join as Lecturer. In case you stop midway after PG, you can work as a counsellor either free lance or as per demand.
