Demand for psychology in India? I want to become Lecturer in psychology what is criteria? If do UG and PG from distance learning can apply?
I want to go in teaching line so for PG which branch psychology to select? Which Universities in Chennai offer them(distance learning). If UG and PG done by distance learning am I eligible for lectureship?Please guide me, thanks

Deepa.As adviced by Suni and Gapziu, you should go for a regular full-time course as Psychology is a practical subject. You will learn only from observing how experienced psychologists treat people suffering from psyhcological problems. Please avoid taking advice about distance learning courses. Psychology is not like literature or history. -
Yes you should do the UG and PG regular because its a more practical subject PSYCHOLOGY. -
You'd preferably do a regular course in Psychology , complete your doctorate/M Phil and join as Lecturer. In case you stop midway after PG, you can work as a counsellor either free lance or as per demand.
