Demand for psychology in India? I want to become Lecturer in psychology what is criteria? If do UG and PG from distance learning can apply?
I want to go in teaching line so for PG which branch psychology to select? Which Universities in Chennai offer them(distance learning). If UG and PG done by distance learning am I eligible for lectureship?Please guide me, thanks

Deepa...As adviced by Suni and Gapziu, you should go for a regular full-time course as Psychology is a practical subject. You will learn only from observing how experienced psychologists treat people suffering from psyhcological problems. Please avoid taking advice about distance learning courses. P

Yes you should do the UG and PG regular because its a more practical subject PSYCHOLOGY...

You'd preferably do a regular course in Psychology , complete your doctorate/M Phil and join as Lecturer. In case you stop midway after PG, you can work as a counsellor either free lance or as per demand.
