Either you go for Auto mobile engineering or diploma. And scope and future is definitely there because not only Indian car companies but also foreign countries are still investing in India. -

There are two specific courses related to your query, Design and Automobile Engg. If you want to go in designing concepts for automobiles than you should be pursuing a designing course otherwise Automobile engineering gives you the scope of technical knowledge and a little scope of designing field also. Engineering will be better suitable for you as it covers both the aspects.
