details for animation courses...!!!

i'm appearing for XII board exam this year.....i oly want to know what are skill or eligibility for joining in animation field...?? please reply as i want to improve my skills and get ready to get into the animation field...

    Hello Nitin,
    As mentioned on other reply, you have to be creative with passion and patience to excel in Animation Industry. Its a shear skill development segement, where your portfolio and work is more important then qualification. To improvise your skills you must learn Sketching, Anatomy, Acting, Clay/Sand Modelling and few other creative aspects desired for one to become good animator.

    Hi Nitin, Animation is currently booming and has lots of scope in the current Market. One should be very interested and Passionate about doing animation courses.Animation requires lot of creativity, skill and technical knowledge of computers. It does not involve monotonous routine of job as it demands lot of innovation, fresh imagination and artistic works.

    Hi, The fields of animation is not meant for everyone but only for the creative and innovative people. You should be a skilled artist with good drawing abilities but if you are going for computer animation then also creativity is supreme with repository of computer skills. Most of us are only familiar with 2D and 3D animation but there are other types animation also namely puppet animation, clay animation, sand animation, vegetable animation etc.

    First check if you're suited for Animation. Animation is an art form and a very demanding career. It has ample opportunities for the creatively talented people. Typically you should have good sketching skills to be able to make a sound career in this. Nothing but your innermost talent and passion should lead you to the course and the institute you choose.
