Did career marks really matters during admission? I have Xth 74% XIIth 64% B.Tech-7.5 cgpa.Will it hamper?

Marks do matter but it is not tge only criteria to judge candidate. Moreover every institute has different weightage criteria for marks. So it may hamper for those institutes but there are also institutes which don't have much weightage for marks. So my advice would be dnt wry about marks at this po

Yes some part of the evaluation process asses your past academic record, but major portion of evaluation is based onyour qualifying exam score and WAT/PI performance.
