No, we get placement for HR as well from good companies.

No, companies do come for HR recruitment but the package is not much motivating as compared to finance and marketing (highest). Few companies come and the most important thing is the role they offer.
If you think you will take interviews (even though with Seniors) after your recruitment then you are mistaken. Clerical works are assigned.
TCS came for HR profile this year with almost Rs 6 lakhs per annum but didn't selected the best candidate from our batch. She is gold medalist and have 4/4.33 which is dream for others but yet rejected.
So, do select HR if you wish but don't have much hopes.
