dilemma between bcom hons and eco hons

Hi, 1. Commerce is a division of trade or production which deals with the exchange of goods and services from producer to final consumer. It primarily expresses the fairly abstract notions of buying and selling. While Economics is the branch of social science that studies the production, distribution, and consumption of goods and services. 2. Both these courses have equally good scope. With a B.com hons. you will have an option for CA, ICWA, CS, CFA. Also you could consider options in Management, Accounting, Media, Hospitality, IT, Academics, Social Work and Law, to name a few. However the same would apply for economics Hons. as well. An Honors degree in Economics consolidates and extends your understanding and knowledge of general economics. It enables you to pursue more specialized study in some area of particular interest to you. As both B.Com and Economics hons students are given some priority. The choice of course is yours.
