    The applicants who completed their 10 years of Kannada-language education in locations outside of Karnataka, from Class Ist to Class Xth. Such candidates are exempt from taking the KEA-organized Kannada Language Test. Assuming the candidates have successfully completed any government qualifying exam The eligibility requirements for the KCET 2024, including the minimum age requirement and requisite qualifications, are included in the table below for candidates to review.     Briefly, only candidates claiming Kannada mother tongue under special clauses or without 10 years of Kannada medium education outside Karnataka need to take the KCET Kannada language exam. Check the KCET website for details.

    No, only candidates from Horanadu & Gadinadu Kannadiga have to appear in the KCET 2025 Kannada language exam. The minimum passing marks for all Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates shall be 12 out of 50 marks in Kannada Language Examination conducted by KEA in order to be considered for assignment of ranks and to become eligible for allotment of seats in CET exam. KCET Kannada Language Test paper 2025 will be of 4th Standard Level.
