Do all government engineering colleges take admissions through JEE Mains?

Dear Anil, Most of them do and some even conduct their own tests. These days we have good private universities too that are at par with government institutions. Opt for some of the good private universities like LPU, SRM, VIT, etc. Offering various specializations in B.Tech. They have their different criteria for admissions. Some offer admission on basis of JEE scores, some offer admission on basis of their own tests and some offer admission on the basis of both. Some even offer direct admission on basis of your marks in class 12th. Some of the universities also offer scholarships on basis of your performance in class 12th or JEE or even during the course. All these universities offer world-class learning atmosphere to students along with good placements. Check there websites for more details. Good luck.

Only IIITs, NITs, CFTIs and GEC of Uttarakhand, MP, Orissa, Haryana and Nagaland offer admission through JEE Mains. IITs, ISM and IIEST offer admission through JEE Advanced.

Hello Anil Sharma, No, they don't. JEE exams are particularly for admission Into Central government colleges like NITs, IITs, IIITs and GFTIs. The seats are allotted by JOSAA (a counseling based on the ranks In JEE exams). Some other colleges do accept JEE scores for admission but they don't come under JOSAA. The state level government colleges need only the respective state level exams.
