Hi Azusa, Yes, to pursue M.Tech in IITs or IISc you need to qualify GATE exam. As per the IIT website, "Candidates who are GATE qualified are eligible to apply for M.Tech. GATE is not required for application to MTech on part-time basis or DIIT programme." For specific admission details, you m
