    Hi, Almost each and every Hotel Management Institute have their uniform, and so the Christ University.

    Yes, it is mandatory to follow the dress code in every institution for hotel management. There is a different set of uniform for different practicals. For food and beverage production there is chef coat, trouser, chef cap, and apron.
    For food and beverage service, it is a white shirt, black pant, bow tie, and waistcoat. For housekeeping it varies from institution to institution. For front office, it is a white shirt, black pant, and tie.
    Regular days its formal dress.
