Chemical engineering is Specialized Branch. Mechanical is saturated not. Electrical is also having demand nowadays.Don't worry about salary package. if you perform well, Sky is the limit. -
A very vibrant engineering is chemical, various job avenues from petrochemical, pharmaceutical, FM CG etc. industries are good examples of placements for chemical engineers. package is one of the best in industries like GAIL, IOCL, PSU.
