Do Clinical Psychologists need to work under a psychiatrist or independently?

<p dir="ltr">Clinical Psychologists can practice independently following RCI registration. They have the training and expertise to posit and treat mental health disorders with psychotherapy and other non-pharmacologic treatments.</p><p dir="ltr">Yet, Clinical Psychologists on a frequent basis, especially in hospitals, work with psychiatrists in collaborations where the Clinical Psychologist will provide psychotherapy and the psychiatrist will administer pharmacologic treatments, as appropriate.&nbsp; As a result, the Clinical Psychologist provides mental health treatment in a holistic care framework.</p>
