This university is different when it comes to practical hands-on experience. Such practicals are organized by the presence of a community radio station running on FM through which students can enhance their hosting skills. Then again, there is such a sophisticated TV studio with PCR on campus where broadcast training is imparted. Students studying at CU not just attend classes. They also engage in media-related work. A community radio station is one of the "on-campus" offers at 90.0 FM. Here, they can speak on-air, record, or share their own ideas with listeners. Students have access to a TV studio and control room, just like a real channel. They learn how news is made, how to mix videos, and how to run shows. Apart from this, they write for the campus magazine and produce digital shows.
