Do data analyst need to be a computer science graduate or an engineer.pls suggest the courses or certification and is SAS the preferred way

Iam a commerce (H) graduate and a c.a finalist with a special knack in financial management,forex and capital markets,in the auditing stage i have audited few mnc(s).i did my +2 in the science stream hence comfortable with pure maths,statistics upto that level. can i be a data analyst,pls suggest
