Do DMLT professionals interact with patients directly?

Patient interactions are limited in a DMLT role.</p><p dir="ltr">Some DMLT professionals will work in a health-care setting and will at times work directly with patients to collect samples or discuss tests that are being done.&nbsp; Most DMLT work involves laboratory based work with lab equipment, providing lab reports with the results of tests done, and aiding physicians and nurse practitioners with their patient's diagnosis.</p>
