Yes, top colleges such as NIFT Hyderabad definitely require an entrance, i.e., NIFT entrance exam, that checks design aptitude and creativity. Many private colleges have their own entrance tests and interviews. Smaller institutes and Diploma colleges may offer admission based only on Class 10 or 12
