No, marketing students score more package than a finance students.Opportunities are same though.But if u work hard and give ur level best then one can score good package in finance after completion of MBA. Though it is a contradictory statement bt that's true. -

i would like to inform you that being a management student i would not say that which one is better, both are good if you can excel on that. Both students get equal opportunities whether its marketing or finance. Package depends upon how you present yourself in front of the interviewer . -
