Do finance students get decent packages and opportunities as compared to the marketing students? I want to pursue MBA in finance from DBS.

No, marketing students score more package than a finance students.Opportunities are same though.But if u work hard and give ur level best then one can score good package in finance after completion of MBA. Though it is a contradictory statement bt that's true.

Dear Arpita,
i would like to inform you that being a management student i would not say that which one is better, both are good if you can excel on that. Both students get equal opportunities whether its marketing or finance. Package depends upon how you present yourself in front of the interviewer .

Students get good packages after pursuing course from here. More than 100 companies use to come and hire the students.

Placement opportunities totally depend on your performance and dedication towards the course.
The college only guides you and prepares you for the interview. There are many reputed finance companies that come to DBS for placement but at the end of the day it is you who need to perform better and get placed in that reputed company.
All the students whether HR, Finance or Marketing get equal opportunities as per as placement is concerned.
