Do foreign study tours/ industry visits of various B-schools helps students?
Nowadays, there are many B-schools that lure students with foreign study tour options. Does it really help students to gain better insights into the industry, making a significant difference to the their understanding of the management domain? Or should B-schools focus more on relevant exposure thr

Any activity is useful depending on the seriousness we display.A foreign tour is of value provided it is devoted solely for the academic activity.Otherwise it is simply tourism.

Yes, visits & study tours are always better for the candidate as it enhances the scope of his/her learning and he/she can observe things from different-different perspectives. If there is an opportunity one should seize it. Even a mere interaction with the teachers / students of foreign institution

Yes, schools and students should be looking more into the learning perspectives and look for programs that serve career choices to let them enjoy an educational trip by visiting various industries and institutions in other countries instead of just taking photos with the landmark or scenery. Studen

I have come to know of the instances of projects abroad helping the students, though I can not generalize.We do like a foreign stamp for many things,justified or otherwise.

I would like to mention further that the overseas education tour enhance personality, confidence and attitude part more than academic/ professional sides because they are usually of very short duration and in today's job market those are much more important as people evolve as professional with expe

Firstly I would like to say that students should not confuse "Foreign Study Tour" with "Foreign Student Exchange" which most of the students do...
Secondly I feel that these foreign study tour options, which as mentioned by@||MSK70515|| used as tool to lure students is actually a waste of money and
