Any activity is useful depending on the seriousness we display.A foreign tour is of value provided it is devoted solely for the academic activity.Otherwise it is simply tourism.

Yes, visits & study tours are always better for the candidate as it enhances the scope of his/her learning and he/she can observe things from different-different perspectives. @||Dr. Sudhiranjan Dey|| undoubtedly through study tours students get to know about different cultures which surely enhance their personality, but most of the B-schools which offers foreign study tours often charge a very high fees.

I have come to know of the instances of projects abroad helping the students, though I can not generalize.We do like a foreign stamp for many things,justified or otherwise.
