Hello,
This is another myth that is perpetuated by the media. But it's not true. As we can see, any government agency cannot reject out of hand a degree awarded by a university according to law of the land.
Having said this, prospective candidates must see to it that the distance course offered

Regular B.Ed is more significant than correspondence one. Rides and some central universities are good for B.Ed but there are a lot more universities too. Hope it helps.

B.Ed distance degree is absolutely valid and acceptable for government and private teaching jobs in schools. However, one should have distance B.Ed degree from a recognised top university that adds value to their career. Candidates with a distance B.Ed degree can apply for government teaching jobs.
