Hi,
No. This is not required. A percentile above 99.30 percentile gives you a high chance of getting a call from IIM A, B, C.
You can check the profile of the current and previous batches that studied at IIMA to know about their education and work experience background.

It is not compulsory to have work experience to get into IIMA or to get a job after it.
