Do I have to apply for a college before board results to pursue B.Sc in economics honors after 12th?

Normally, you have to apply for this course after you have completed your board exams, as selection is done on marks obtained in the board exams. Forms are available in the month of June and July every year. Candidates need to purchase form along with prospectus and have to submit as per the guidelines prescribed in that prospectus. To get direct admission, candidates need to score high marks at 10+2 level and on the basis of marks obtained and personal interview candidate will be shortlisted for the selection. Selection will be done on the basis of cut off merit list prepared by the colleges but in some colleges there can be entrance examination also depending upon the policies of the institution or college.
