Do I have to attempt state entrance test and JEE Mains? Will Not attempting mains decreases my chances of cracking GATE?

I am looking forward to attempt GATE or doing MS in abroad. I am 11th class student from AP. Our state conducts common entrance test for engineering.

Anna University is the main conducting authority which organizes a state level entrance exam called as Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA).
