Answering your query, nope. You don't need to do mech, ele, common engineering for this. You need to have the basics of core subjects and can pursue your Bachelor's. All u need is a will and good financial support. #As per your question concern. #IIT Hyderabad is about to launch Artificial intelligence as a subject in Bachelors.
