Some universities conduct their own test for admission and scholarships, like Chandigarh University, LPU, VIT, etc.
And some states organise their entrance exams to take admission into the colleges in their states, like Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Bihar, etc.
The maximum colleges accept JEE Mains for admissions.
So don't take tension about the admission. If you have scored well in JEE Mains, you can get a good college. You are not required to give any entrance exam.

    Hi,
After JEE, you'll get the admission on the basis of your score.
As of my knowledge, you don't need to give college entrance.

After passing through JEE Mains, if you you qualify for JEE Advanced, then you need to appear for advanced for getting into IITs otherwise appearing for JEE Mains will be sufficient to get into good colleges.
