Do I have to study mass communication or media to become a TV anchor or can I do a professional course?

6 years agoDear, If you are seriously focused to become a TV anchor, then I don't recommend you for going a full time Bachelor or master programme of media course. You can do short-term course of TV production and TV anchoring. Then, you just join as intern in news channel, so that you can get exact and real exposure of anchoring. Because I think, no institute will give you a real exposure of anchoring which is done by professionals in news channels. They exactly know the difficulties of this area and how to overcome all such things. So, real exposure can get through only internship in any news channel.
