The answer to your question depends on the category and the stream you are applying for. DTU offers a full-time B.Tech course in 15 specializations. The minimum eligibility for admission is 10+2 (PCM) with at least 60% marks in aggregate from a recognised board for the General category, 55% for OBC/CW, and 50% for SC/ST/PD. However, the final admission is based on the score in JEE Main followed by Joint Admission Counselling (JAC). Therefore, you need to have a good JEE Main score as well as the required percentage in your 12th class examination to get into DTU. For admission to most of the undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered at Delhi Technological University, students are required to score 50% to 60% minimum aggregate in their last qualifying degree or course to be eligible. A course-wise list of eligibility criteria for DTU admission is mentioned in the following table:

    Course NameEligibility Criteria
    BTech

    Class 12 with 60%

    BDes

    A pass in Class 12

    BBA

    Class 12 with 50%

    MSc

Class 12 with 50% in Economics
    MTech

Relevant UG degree with at least 60%

    MDes

    4-year UG with 55%

    E-MBA

    Any UG degree with 60%

    E-MBAUG degree with 50%

    MSc

Relevant BSc/ UG degree with 55%

    E-MBA

    UG degree with 50%

    PhD

    Relevant PG degree with 55%

Hence, as per the table, it can be concluded that while all 75% scorers will be preferred at DTU, the minimum requirement to get admission and be eligible for DTU admission is comparatively low.

Yes, you qualify for DTU if you received a 60% in your 12th grade.

However, admission is primarily determined by your JEE Main rank rather than your grades.

You have to attend JAC Delhi counseling after JEE.

Therefore, you can get DTU CSE/IT if your JEE score is high.

If your rank is low, you might have to look at other colleges or get a different branch.
