Do i need a degree to appear for GRE? Can i appear as a final year student?

HI.IA M A FINAL YEAR ENGINEERING STUDENT WILL GET MY DEGREE ON AUGUST 2011.DO I NEED A DEGREE TO APPEAR FOR THE GRE EXAM...?OR CAN I APPEAR AS A FINAL YEAR STUDENT..?PLZ REPLY IF ANY ONE KNOW THE ANSWERS
