Do I need to appear for any entrance exam for Phd? Is stipend given in Phd?
I m doing M.tech from computer science and engineering.

To pursue PhD you need to pass master's / M.Phil with minimum 55%. You need to sit for an entrance exam. Below is the list of some of the PhD entrance exams :
-UGC NET exam
-Symbiosis PhD Entrance Examination
-AIMA PhD Entrance Exam
-JNU PhD Entrance Exam
-Alagappa University PhD Entrance
