No, you do not need to apply separately for the IBSAT exam if you have already scored well in the CAT or NMAT exams. As per the latest guidelines of the ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education, which conducts the IBSAT you are eligible for admission into IB colleges with other management test scores apart from the IBSAT. From 2020 onwards, the following exam scores are accepted for admission to the MBA courses:
1. CAT
2. GMAT
3. NMAT
4. XAT

Yes, you need. Candidates having valid scores in CAT/CMAT/XAT/NMAT/GMAT or any other state-level examination will be exempted from taking IBSAT 2022. Candidates having a valid GMAT NMAT by GMAC, and CAT score need to mail the scanned copy of their score/certificate to - email id ibsat@ibsindia. Org.
