Basic mathematics will be required in the same. Finance requires mathematics, bit of simple calculation with use of formulas, calculation of present value, future value, derivatives, etc. with use of formula.

Mathematics and accounts are different fields. For a better career pursue finance. Finance comes under the top career options and offers higher salary packages.

If you are good in accounting then opt for finance else opt HR if you're interested and good in communication.

    Hi,
Not at all, but I mention "simple mathematics" is needed to do MBA. Simplifications are important while doing statistics.
Apart from that, everything will be fine.
    All the best!

If you want to pursue MBA in finance, then mathematics is necessary. According to me, MBA in HR doesn't require mathematics knowledge.
