    I would say, yes you need to buy a laptop because BCA is a technical course where you'll be taught coding. So, if you've a laptop with you then you'll be able to code more often rather than depending on your college for practical classes. A laptop with i3 Intel processor, 4GB RAM will be enough for general programming languages. This will cost you around Rs. 20-30k. If you want to develop Applications and Games in future then i7 8th generation processor, with 8 GB RAM will be recommended. This will cost you around Rs.60-80k.
