No, it is not compulsory to do Bachelors degree in hotel management to get Masters degree in hotel management. Eligibility for M.Sc. In Hotel & Catering Management. As a minimum criterion of eligibility, the course requires the candidate to have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognised institute with a minimum aggregate score of 50%. No, it is not mandatory that you have to pursue only hotel management prior to MBA. There is plethora of streams that you can pursue depend upon your interest. The MBA course is design in that way where you can learn the business skill and corporate diaspora, while you are taking admission in any B-School they never asked that what you have done in your past. Moreover, they want mist of diversity in streams. Though, there is little advantage for B.Com or engineering, but it doesn't matter because it is only same in 1 trimester else everything is different from second trimester. So, select subject according to your interest.
