    Yes, aspirants need to qualify GATE to apply for APG Shimla University M.Tech programme. Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering or GATE is a national-level entrance examination conducted for admission to Masters in Technology (MTech). Aspirants also need to complete BE/ BTech or equivalent with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST) to apply for Alakh Prakash Goyal Shimla University M.Tech programme.
