Do I need to know software languages like c and Java to be a software tester.

Usually you should know java and C. but again, some companies give you on-job training for the same. but, it always add advantage to know a language or two.

I have a btech degree in electronics and communication. I don't have any software knowledge. My English is good. And Im pretty sure i can think out of the box. So is software testing right career for me?
