PET exam is for MBA from Faculty Of Commerce. It doesn't requires CAT score. Institute of Management Studies is a separate institution. It takes students through CAT only. -
The PET exam is for pursuing MBA at Faculty of Commerce, BHU. For pursuing MBA at Institute of Management Studies, BHU (erstwhile FMS BHU) you need to appear for CAT. You get admission in FMS on the basis of your CAT score only.

If you have applied for MBA and MBA IB courses in FMS BHU, then its mandatory to provide CAT percentile. CAT percentile is the basis for shortlisting students for GD-PI. If you have applied for MBA IB course in FMS BHU, then an entrance test will be conducted by university for shortlisting students for GD-PI.
