Do I need to pursue honors in a subject to become a journalist?

I am a 1st-year arts pass student with Bengali medium. And, I want to be a news anchor after completing my graduation.

You can do Bachelors in journalism and mass communication or can go for B.A in journalism if you want to pursue journalism only.
