Hi, As per your desired institute or university admission, you need to appear for one of them. But, most of the students try their luck in CAT and MAT exam to get admission in best B-school in India. Otherwise, you can appear for GMAT for abroad education. All the best.

Every institution conducts their own entrance exam. CAT is generally for IIMs, but as it is the main paper, so some institutions have started accepting it. There are some institutes, which conduct their own entrance exam.

Different institutes ask for different test and also some institutes conduct their own entrance exam rather than CAT, etc. All the best.

MAT is overall an easy exam, but if you compare the sections, usually the Quantitative Aptitude is considered tougher than rest of the four sections, due to calculation intensive questions.

All the MAT sections have same weightage, i.e. 30 questions and 30 marks. So candidates must keep in mind to prepare each section properly and poor performance in one section can affect overall score.
