Do I need to qualify LPUNEST exam to get admission in LPU for BA in journalism and mass communication?

Currently qualifying for LPU NEST is mandatory for most of the programmes where it acts as eligibility as well as a scholarship test except in some programmes where it only acts as a scholarship test. IN LPU B.A. Is a programme for which you do not need to qualify LPU NEST exam, However, I advise you, to go for it; it helps you to avail the scholarship opportunity. LPU NEST is neither too simple nor too challenging. If you work hard and have a thorough understanding of the concepts covered in the LPU NEST you will almost certainly pass the exam. LPU NEST is a fully MCQ online test with no negative marking. You get a bonus point for not receiving any negative marking on the test, Because there is no negative marking in LPU NEST try to answer all of the questions. Give as many mock tests as feasible during the preparation process. Solve at least five years of LPU NEST prior papers. The English section is worth 40 points in LPU NEST so don't skip it. LPU NEST is neither too easy nor too difficult. You will almost surely pass the LPU NEST exam if you work hard and have a good comprehension of the ideas covered. LPU NEST is an online test that is entirely made up of multiple-choice questions with no negative marking. Because there is no negative marking in LPU NEST you gain a bonus point for not receiving any bad marking on the test. Try to answer all of the questions. During the preparation phase, provide as many mock tests as possible. Solve at least five years' worth of previous LPU NEST papers. To get admitted to LPU's B.A. In Journalism and Mass Communication degree, you do not need to pass the LPU NEST test. You only need to have a 50 percent aggregate in 10+2 (with English or equivalent) to pass. You can, however, take the LPU NEST test to raise the amount of your scholarship. A LPU was also researched by a friend of mine. Students will be exposed to all aspects of print, electronic, and new age media as part of this curriculum. Mass communication, as we all know, is a method of disseminating information to a large number of people. The phrase refers to a wide range of media areas, including news collecting and reporting, film direction and production, event management, public relations, advertising, and corporate communication, to name a few.

Dear Sachin, No, you need not tot qualify for the LPU NEST exam to get admission in LPU for the B.A. In Journalism and Mass Communication programme. You just should have passed with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English or equivalent. However, you can appear for the LPU NEST exam to increase your scholarship amount. My cousin completed his degree in JMC last year. The programme is designed to expose students to all dimensions of Print, Electronic, and New Age Media. As LPU NEST is basically National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programmes in Lovely Professional University. This test forms the basis of eligibility and scholarship for most of the programmes and for some of the programme test is applicable only for scholarship. For your case, No you don't have to qualify the LPU NEST exam as eligibility is Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English or equivalent, but yes if you want to access scholarship then you can access LPU NEST. LPU NEST is conducted online and it is MCQ based test with no negative marking. The registration of LPU NEST is open Online and you can apply for the LPU NEST. Due to the situation that is COVID-19, the exam dates will be informed based on the Government decision. One more important thing, you can find the syllabus of LPU NEST. Exam dates, exam pattern, and moreover sample questions on the LPU website. The paper is designed on the very basic knowledge of the courses that you have studied till date and also focused on the discipline you are writing the exam. English subject is mandatory part in this exam. Content is completely based on basics and specific topics are shared on their website as well. Rest depends which course you are choosing. Hi Sachin, For BA in journalism and mass communication, the eligibility is 50% marks in 12th with English as a subject. The admissions are open. There is a test conducted by university i.e LPU-NEST for BA in journalism and mass communication.It is not mandatory but the applicant may give the test for higher scholarship. The university provides scholarship on the basis of percentage in 12th and LPU-NEST.
