Do I need to take any entrance exam for pursuing B.Tech marine engineering?
I have just taken HSC board exams.

The entrance examination for marine engineering is organised at National level for admitting students to various colleges in the country. You can join marine engineering course by be part in the AIEEE. You can also attend IIT JEE, MERI, IMU CET, AICET, etc. to secure admission for engineering courses.

Yes, admissions to any engineering college these days are almost exclusively via some or the other entrance exam. If you have not applied for JEE Mains, then you still need to apply to CET of your state. Some private colleges too conduct their own CET.
