Do I need to take any entrance exam in order to pursue BCA?

    I think, there is no common entrance exam for BCA admissions but different institutes have their own entrance exam and also their own eligibility criteria.

    You should have minimum 50% in class 12th (any stream) to do BCA. Some colleges prefer students who have studied Mathematics till class 12th, whereas there are some colleges which give admission to those who had opted Arts or Commerce.     Yes, you need to qualify certain exams if you want a seat in renowned colleges or university. You should have minimum 50% in class 12th (any stream) to do BCA.     Selection for admission for BCA is generally based on the performance in the written test. Certain universities like the Christ University, Bangalore, also conduct a personal interview for selection to the programme. The final selection is based on the cumulative performance in written test, personal interview and qualifying examination.
