Do I need to take any entrance exam in order to pursue BCA?

I think, there is no common entrance exam for BCA admissions but different institutes have their own entrance exam and also their own eligibility criteria.

You should have minimum 50% in class 12th (any stream) to do BCA. Some colleges prefer students who have studied Mathematics till class 12th, whereas there are some colleges which give admission to those who had opted Arts or Commerce. If you want to take admission in the best college then you have to give the entrance exam for admission and get some scholarship.you should have best preparation in math for quality college and best bca course

Selection for admission for BCA is generally based on the performance in the written test. Certain universities like the Christ University, Bangalore, also conduct a personal interview for selection to the programme. The final selection is based on the cumulative performance in written test, personal interview and qualifying examination. Below is a list of institutes which conduct entrance test for admission to BCA programme. Indira Gandhi National Open University. Symbiosis University Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Banaras Hindu University Panjab University There are certain colleges like BIT Mesra, Amity University etc. Which take admission purely on the basis of marks scored in the 10+2 examination.
