Yes, you need to give IELTS besides GMAT, as most of the universities demand for IELTS band. This test is required to know your English skills in reading, writing and understanding so as to make sure weather you will be able to cope up with the studies in their university. Almost all the Australian and US universities demand the same.

If you go through the GMAT exam then you don't have to appear in IELTS exam.
