NO you do not need to appear for the LPU NEST but to take admission in most of course you have to paper for the LPU NEST so it depends on which course you are taking admission. If you want to take admission in engineering, it is mandatory to give LPU NEST exam. In some courses, there is direct admission, in some its mandatory to qualify the LPU NEST exam and in some, LPU NEST and Interview. In order to take admission in LPU for a maximum of the courses, the percentage required in 10+2 is 60% along with that subjects of study are also mentioned and the candidate needs to appear for LPU NEST Exam.
