Yes, minimum eligibility criteria is 75% marks for getting admission. You should apply for improvement and with your hard work, you can easily maintain 75% marks. Best of luck.

Yes, if you aim is BITSAT then you definitely need to get more than 75% despite of that, go for Mains as BITSAT is a lot costlier than even IITs.

Download BITS information brochure, it is clearly given you should have aggregate of 75% in PCM. And if you are dreaming BITSAT you can dream Mains also. So, I think you should give the exam.
