Do I need to write any entrance test to get admission in LPU, Delhi for a Diploma course in IT?

Anand, LPU has no branch in Delhi or anywhere. It has just one campus which is in Phagwara, Punjab. You have not specified the course you are interested in.If you fulfill the eligibility of the course you are interested in, you can get admission in LPU.

Diploma programs don't need any entrance exam to get into, however the LPU NEST exam can still act as scholarships exam. There are various Diploma programs on offer at LPU in the fields of : Engineering Management Architecture MLT/ Paramedical Sciences Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10th (with Mathematics, Science and English) or equivalent. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants) Admission Criteria Merit in qualifying examination If your marks in 10th don't fall in any scholarship slab, you can still apply for LPU NEST and avail the scholarships upto 40% of programme fee. The other scholarships available are: Scholarship on the basis of Percentage in qualifying exam COVID-19 Frontline Scholarship for the Frontline Workforce Scholarship on the basis of LPUNEST Scholarship on the basis of Performance in Sports, Cultural, R&D, Co-curricular and Social Service Bravery Awards. Firstly, LPU is a single campus university situated in Phagwara Punjab. In Delhi there is a camp office which helps the students in the proceeding of admissions. Also, in the situation of Covid-19, LPU has relaxed their eligibility norms. Based on your 12th you can go for B.Tech programme, the eligibility criteria for this is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST or In case student scored more than or equal to 90% in 10+2, or 90 percentile in JEE Mains, then LPU NEST will be exempted and candidate may apply for admission. Or you can go for Bachelors in Information technology. Based on your interest you may choose your desired programme. Also with the percentage you are having, you are eligible for scholarship. There is single campus in Punjab only. For taking admission in any programme, eligibility criteria needs to be qualified for the same. Refer the official website for more details on the same.
