Do I stand a chance to go for M.Sc in physics? I've scored 74% in B.Sc (pass) course.

  • Dear Sachin, no for admission you don't have to give admission as the eligibility is
    Pass with 50% aggregate marks in Bachelors degree (any discipline) (with Physics and Maths) or B.Tech. (ECE or ME or EE or EEE) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST.
    OR
    In case marks scored in graduation are 70% or above, then LPUNEST will be exempted and candidate may apply for admission.
    But yes if you want better scholarship, you need to appear for LPUNEST. Check the link for details

    Hey,
    The candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination by a recognized board and BSc Physics with 50% or above marks in aggregate. The candidate must have passed B.Sc. (General/Programme/B.Sc. (Pass) B.Sc. (H) Electronic, B.A. /B.Sc. (H) Instrumentation B.A./ B.Sc. (H) Electronics with 50% or above marks in aggregate.
    The admission to the program is based on performance in the Entrance Examination and/or the academic record of the student in graduation.

    This program has been designed primarily to suit the needs of the students who aspire to shape their career in various dimensions of science. Developing scientific temperament among the students is the focus area throughout the program.     The M.Sc in physics eligibility criteria is : pass with 55% aggregate marks in Bachelors degree (any discipline) (with Physics and Maths) or B.Tech. (Electronics and Communication Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering ) or equivalent.

    Yes, you may only enroll in an M.Sc. program in physics after meeting the necessary eligibility requirements.

    The M.Sc. Physics program requires students to have completed their bachelor's degree in any field with physics and maths with a minimum of 55% of the possible points, or earn a bachelor's degree in electronics and communication engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or electrical and electronics engineering, or its equivalent.
