Do IIT colleges need ST caste validity or enough with cast certificate as I am a Maharashtrian and validity is not given by the govt.?

Yes, it is mandatory field for both IIT and NIT but it is mandatory field only for Maharashtra students.

Nowhere it is mentioned to provide Caste Validity Certificate for Maharashtra Students on any of the CAT websites or links. They just need Caste Certificate only and that is in central government format. People just post any information by considering their own thought that yes its is required or b
